Practice management software

Practice management for occupational therapy practices

Midline keeps the diary, the clinical record and the money in one place — with access rules strict enough for patient information and simple enough for a small team to run every day.

Accounts are created by invitation — there is no public sign-up.

One system for the whole practice

From the first booking to the payout at the end of the month, without spreadsheets in between.

Client records
Demographics, contact details and parent or guardian information for clients under 18, with search and filtering across the caseload.
Weekly diary
Book against practitioners and rooms with clash detection, recurring appointments and working-hours checks that need a reason to override.
Clinical notes
Structured templates, draft and finalised states, formal amendments instead of edits, attachments and overdue-note tracking.
Invoicing and payments
Service items, invoices with balances, payments against invoices, and client statements you can export.
Payouts and reporting
Practitioner payout runs off agreed terms, room utilisation and practice reports, all exportable to CSV.
Role-based access
Every role sees only what it needs, and access to a clinical record outside the usual path is recorded with a reason.

Built for the way a practice actually runs

Owners, associates, locums, finance and clients each get their own view of the same practice.

Practice owner
Full oversight of the diary, the caseload, the money and who has access to what.
Associate and locum therapists
Their own diary and their own clients' notes, without visibility of the rest of the practice.
Finance admin
Invoices, payments, statements and payout runs — with no access to clinical notes.
Clients
A simple portal showing their appointments, their balance and their enrollment status.

Patient information, treated like patient information

Access control is part of the database itself, not something bolted on in the interface.

Default deny

Data access rules start closed. A role only reaches a record when a rule explicitly allows it.

Logged access

Reaching a clinical record outside a practitioner's own caseload requires a written reason and is written to an append-only log.

Nothing is hard-deleted

Clients, notes and accounts are archived or deactivated, never removed, so the record stays intact.

Invitation only

There is no public sign-up. Accounts are created by invitation and can be deactivated the moment someone leaves.
